2022-23 Global & Local Impact
While the Fayetteville Rotary Club may be best known for organizing the annual Fayetteville Christmas parade, it is through our annual Walker Family Golf Classic, Rotary District Grants and member support and volunteerism, that our club positively impacts our local community and beyond.
2022-2023 Global Impact
- Funded solar panel project for 130 Rwanda homes through an international service project and partnership with former Methodist Rotaract member.
- Sponsored French Exchange Student as part of Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE)
- Contributed to annual Rotary CART (Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust) Fund which supports research to find a prevention/cure for Alzheimer's Disease. In 2023, Rotary presented researchers $800,000 in grant money to further research.
- Attended the Duke/UNC Peace Fellows Conference and 2023 International Peace Conference
